An in-person awards show had been scheduled to take place in Paris on Nov. 5, but it was called off amid theongoing Israel-Hamas war.
“As we watch the devastating events in Israel and Gaza continue to unfold, this does not feel like a moment for a global celebration,” the channel shared via X — formerly known as Twitter — last month oftheir decision.
Swift, 33, led the winners with three awards including best video for her 2022 song “Anti-Hero," best live and best artist. The singer was also nominated for best pop act — which went to Eilish — and best song for “Anti-Hero.”
