Carrie UnderwoodandMike Fisherare bound to have their hands full very soon!
The hockey player shared theexciting news on InstagramSaturday, writing, “Meet the newest member of our family! Isaiah affectionately named him Zero,” while referencing the couple’s sonIsaiah Michael, who is almost 4-years-old.
The couple’s latest addition comes as they are getting ready towelcome their second child together.
“I guess it fits because it’s the chance of surviving if you try to break into our home 😂” Fisher jokingly added.
The little pup, which appears to be a German Shepherd, was purchased fromCedar Valley Caninein Tennessee, about 10 miles northwest of Nashville. He will join the couple’s other two dogs, Ace and Penny.
“You might be wondering or asking, ‘Carrie, why is your tour starting in May?’ Well … yay!” she said, revealing balloons spelling out “BABY” above her head. “Mike and Isaiah and I are absolutely over the moon and excited to be adding another little fish to our pond.”

Opening up about her challenging fertility struggles in an interview in September onCBS Sunday Morning, the “Cry Pretty” singer said she experienced her first miscarriage in 2017.
After suffering a second miscarriage in 2017 and a third in 2018, the singer said she reached a low point.
“It was just kind of like, ‘Okay, like, what’s the deal? What is all of this?'” she said.
“I had always been afraid to be angry,” Underwood explained of her reaction to the heartbreak. “Because we are so blessed. And my son, Isaiah, is the sweetest thing. And he’s the best thing in the world. And I’m like, ‘If we can never have any other kids, that’s okay because he’s amazing.'”
“And I have this amazing life. Like, really, what can I complain about? I can’t,” she added. “I have an incredible husband, incredible friends, an incredible job, an incredible kid. Can I be mad? No.”

Now that Underwood is in the final stretch of her pregnancy and taking care of their son and a new pet, the superstar and her family are preparing for some exciting changes.

She gushed, “He’ll be really sweet and talk to my belly and kiss my belly. He’s the sweetest little boy. But no kid can really know that their life is going to change… He’ll have to share Mommy.”
