Paris Hilton’s husbandCarter Reumis opening up about his wife’s secretive side!
In asneak peekof season 2 of her Peacock reality series,Paris in Love, Reum, 42, confesses that he wanted to share the news of their sonPhoenix Baron’simpending arrival with his loved ones, but his wife, also 42, preferred to keep it under wraps.
“I don’t think it ever hit me we weren’t going to tell anyone, that was really Paris,” the entrepreneur and venture capitalist said in a confessional. “My initial inclination was to tell my family and get everyone excited, hers was to hold the secret. But she’s had to go through life having to protect herself, so I was gonna do everything I could to be a good teammate.”
In the same clip, Hilton also discussed just how closely guarded the secret was.
“Literally no one knows,” she said in a confessional. “No one in this house knows. None of the people who work at my media company know. My friends don’t know. My own family doesn’t know.”
“If people found out there would be paparazzi all over Cedars [Cedars Sinai Hospital in L.A.] I’m hoping and praying that no one at the hospital tells,” she told Reum as they sat in a car. “If anyone recognizes me let’s pretend that it’s our nephew.”
“Can’t blow our cover now, we’ve done such a good job,” he added.

Hilton announced thenews of Phoenix’s arrivalonInstagramat the end of January.
Reum is alsodad to a daughter, whom he shares with former reality star Laura Bellizzi.

Back in February, Hilton revealed how her nearest and dearest didn’t know she and Reum had welcomed Phoenix until he wasover a week old.
Speaking on heriHeartRadio podcastThis Is Paris, the mother of one said, “Not even my mom, my sisters, my best friend knew until he was over a week old. It was really nice to have that with Carter, be our own journey together. I just feel like my life has been so public, and I’ve never really had anything be just mine."
“I felt that I wanted this journey to be for us only,” Hilton explained, noting it was “hard to keep that in.”

Paris also opened up about her momKathy Hiltonmeeting her grandson for thefirst timeand described her reaction.
In thetrailerfor season 2 ofParis in Love, Kathy can be seen getting emotional during the touching moment.
“I have a surprise,” Paris tells her. “This is your grandson Phoenix.”
“Are you serious?” Kathy cries.
