The lifestyle mogul and author, 83, couldn’t hold back her excitement about meeting up withRihannaandA$AP Rockyat the Dec. 4 Footwear News Achievement Awards (FNAA), an event that brings together and celebrates the footwear space’s most influential style stars, emerging talents and industry veterans.
She was, in fact, so overjoyed that she took to Instagram to gush about the moment.
“RIRI@badgalririis so beautiful ! And statuesque!” Stewart captionedthe selfie— but not without showing A$AP Rocky some love, calling the 36-year-old rapper “very handsome and funny.”

Stewart and A$AP Rocky were both honored with awards at the ceremony, held at Cipriani South Street in N.Y.C. She was recognized with the Icon award while he received the Collaboration of the Year award with Puma.

The tastemaker wore a metallic Libertine ensemblefeaturing a glittery sweater and pants and a statement jacket, plussparkly Pier Lite slip-on wedgesfrom her collaboration with Skechers.
Chatting with PEOPLE on the red carpet, Stewart spoke about her style plans for the festive weeks ahead. “[Wear something] wearable, comfortable and indestructible. Yeah, you don’t wanna get grease stains on something, you know, that costs $5,000. So you wear something that’s washable."

On Dec. 4, best palSnoop Doggmade a special appearance to virtually present Stewart her award at the event, while she showcased his Snoop Dogg: Snoop One – Gold Medal Snoop sneakers onstage ahead of their limited-edition release on Skechers' website on Dec. 12.
The duo, who have a continuing partnerships with Skechers, made a surprise appearance at the 2023 FNAA, to present that year’s Icon award recipient.
