“She’s an amazing mom,” Kathie Lee raves.
“It’s just the best,” Cassidy says of motherhood, as Kathie Lee adds, “We call him Finnston Churchill.”

Bush Hager then asks Cassidy how becoming a mom has changed things for her.
“It has changed literally everything,” says Cassidy. “Just watching the joy that he finds in everything; just that childlike wonder in every little thing. He’s just perfect, but I’m incredibly biased.”
Kathie Lee shares that when her daughter was recently staying at her house, she was excited to get some quiet during the night.
“We went to our house and Cass took a nap and slept all through the night last night and you forget that that’s what it’s all about at the beginning. In her case, for a long time. Yeah…Cody’s kidsare much better,” the proud grandma explains, adding that her son’s kids are just better sleepers.
Cassidy also adds that becoming a mom has changed her relationship with Kathie Lee.
“It’s fostered a different appreciation for that motherly love,” Cassidy says. “You can hear about it, everyone tells you about it, but until it happens, you guys know — it’s just the most overwhelming, all-encompassing love.”
“Every little thing. It’s given me a lot of grace for my mom, looking back on times where I haven’t had the same understanding because you love your child, more than anything in the world. So thanks, Mom.”
In addition to grandson Finn, Kathie Lee is also grandma to son Cody’s sons Frankie and Ford.
