The drama never stops withJane the Virgin.
With just a handful of episodes left before the beloved CW show’sfifth and final season ends, the twisty telenovela appears to be amping up the drama with a wedding, but just who is tying the knot remains unclear.
While filming a scene for the show on Thursday,Gina Rodriguez, who stars as Jane Villanueva, is seen wearing a gorgeous white wedding dress.
In a photograph taken from the set, Rodriguez — who is currently engaged toreal-life fiancéJoe LoCicero — is holding a bouquet of pink flowers as she smiles at Andrea Navedo, who plays her mother Xiomara, as well as Jaime Camil, who plays her father Rogelio.
Although that alone doesn’t shed much light on the situation, Rodriguez was also standing beside Yara Martinez, who plays the sister of Jane’s off-on love interest Rafael Solano. Additionally, in a separate image, Rodriguez was also seen on set talking withJustin Baldoni, who plays Rafael.

Taken all together, the images seemly indicate that after five seasons of twists and turns — including thereturn of Jane’s presumed-dead husband, Michael (Brett Dier) — the beloved character may finally be ready to settle down with Rafael.
However, those pictures might not tell the whole story.
Although her future with Rafael seemed solid before Michael suddenly returned, throughout the fifth season Jane has found herself torn between the two men, and is currently exploring her lingering feelings for the latter.
So while Rafael and his sister may be in attendance at her wedding, it’s not necessarily guaranteed she won’t tie the knot (again) with Michael.
Additionally, the nuptials might not even be taking place in real life: The series is no stranger to dream sequences.
AlthoughJane the Virginis coming to an end, in December, PEOPLE confirmeda spinoff in-the-works.
“It is fantastic. The pilot is unbelievable,” Rodriguez said of the spin-off during the 2019 Winter Television Critics Association press tour in January. “We hope we cangive something just as great as we didwithJane the Virgin.”
Jane the Virginairs Wednesday at 9 p.m. ET on the CW.
