Several weeks ago production on the third Maze Runner cinema , The Death Cure , was keep out down when star Dylan O’Brien was injured on set . Now , a newfangled report says his injuries were worse than originally recollect and the photographic film has been postponed indefinitely .
“ His injury are very serious and he needs more meter to recover , ” O’Brien ’s publicist Jennifer Allen told The Hollywood Reporter , who broke the story . Fox put out the follow statement as well :
The resumption of principal picture taking on Maze Runner : The Death Cure has been further delayed to allow Dylan O’Brien more time to to the full recover from his injury . We wish Dylan a speedy retrieval and look forth to restarting production as shortly as possible .
allot to the news report , on March 18 O’Brien suffered a “ concussion , facial break and lacerations ” when a stunt in which the doer was on top of a move vehicle went wrong .
The Maze Runner : The Death Cure was earlier scheduled for waiver February 17 , 2017 , but it now seems unlikely the motion-picture show will make that date .
