Throughout the flick , Paul has visual sense of Chani , which seems to play a prominent role in his decisiveness to go with the Freman . Also , those ancient vaticination of a large , spiritual drawing card begin to add up true .

Paul adopt and nip Freman life , cursorily rising up the ranks to become their de facto drawing card — which , hmm — culminates in one of the series ’ most famous scenes , where he finally snag and ride a sandworm . Along the way , he and Chani also fall in love and have a child . From there , Paul ’s full Freman life impart him the sureness to think of a design to not just overthrow the Harkkonen leader that the Emperor place on Arrakis after Duke Leto ’s slaying , but the Emperor himself . Major mollycoddler qui vive : after a massive battle , it works . Paul and the Fremen are victorious , though Paul and Chani ’s child is killed in the battle . Paul then basically forces the Emperor to make his girl , Princess Irulan , marry him , which guarantee his climb to the throne . A wage increase that Paul foresees could be tremendously detrimental to the galaxy .

Who are the important characters in Dune Part 2?
