China has been gearing up for its approaching lunar missions , hoping to not only earth spaceman on the Moon but lay down a sustained mien on the lunar surface . The program could equal NASA ’s Artemis program , which recentlykicked off with the maiden launchof the Space Launch System rocket and the uncrewed Orion journey to the Moon and back .
NASA and China may even beeyeing the same area on the Moon , targeting the lunar south pole , whichmay contain water icein its shadowed regions .

During a recentinterviewwith Politico , NASA Administrator Bill Nelson give tongue to concern over China seek to monopolize resourcefulness on the Moon . “ We better watch out that they do n’t get to a place on the moon under the guise of scientific enquiry . China is direct 2030 for the launch of its crewed mission to the Moon , hoping to land its astronaut on the lunar control surface for the first metre . China ’s space program has made a caboodle of headway recently , but it still needs to uprise a rocket to set up the crewed spacecraft to the Moon , in addition to build a lunar lander .
