Is it the Godzilla El Niño or herald of a next blaze ? Weird , deadly weather has been sweeping the nation for the past week , from tornadoes and blizzards in the Southwest , to historical flooding in the corn belt . If one matter ’s certain , it ’s that thehottest , climatically wackiestyear on record is going out with a bang .
The madness started over the weekend , when a freakish storm descend across the US from the Southwest to Michigan . Whilerecord snowdriftsburied parts of New Mexico , next door in Texas , it was summertime . Dozens of tornadoes swept through the Dallas area , damage up to 1,000 building and rest home .

fit in to theNational Weather Service , at least one of the tornadoes recorded this weekend was an EF4 , which clocked malarky velocity of up to 180 land mile per time of day . EF4s account for less than 1 % of all tornado , but they ’re the second most damaging class , known for level houses and flinging cars into the air .
