What happens when you mate Y Tu Mamá También , Children of Men , and Harry Potter and the Prisoner Of Azkaban music director Alfonso Cuarón with J.J. Abrams ? We do n’t roll in the hay yet , but NBC has just ordered it as a supernatural pilot .
Deadlineis reporting that the Oscar - make Cuarón has sign on to lead a “ gamey - concept ” pilot for NBC , which he will be co - produce with Abrams and co - writing with Mark Friedman . This will be Cuarón ’s first American television lance , and will partner off a superpowered young lady with her convict protector :
It is about a lady friend in possession of a smashing talent / powers – which will come into their own in seven age – and the world who is sprung from prison to protect her from those trying to hunt her down .
The plot is n’t much to go on , but we ’re unrestrained to see Cuarón dipping his toe into our television waters .
