Michael Vick is the NFL ’s degraded and most volatile quarterback . He ’s also the most injury prone . This time of year , he ’s going to try wearing something novel to protect himself : a kevlar EXO Skeleton undershirt made by Unequal Technologies . It ’s armor for football .

Unequal Technologies uses military - grade composite material that has DuPont Kevlar in its singlet . For the vest , the rib protector matter or so three ounce but Unequal also makes cushion to help protect against concussions too .
allot to Wired , The DuPon Kevlar is “ sandwiched between two layers of proprietary elastomers ” and combine to look like something that was skip from old tyre but the Kevlar fibers actually stretch on impingement ( like a tackle ) to disperse the shock . Kevlar is really full at distribute force around and “ direct energy away from the point of impact ” . So the idea is that since lineal impact is scatter across the Kevlar , there ’s less prospect of injury .
